answer 1
As a dog trainer, I always ask my students this question. "If you were going on an 8-hour airline flight every day, would you want to sit in economy or the larger first-class seats?" I always recommend the largest crate or confined area in which you can safely leave your dog. You might also check out exercise pens. I love these as they can be expanded and configured to fit any space, indoors or out. A 6-month-old pup is teething, so letting her loose in your home is very brave. <G> Have you see the toys made by Kong and other manufacturers that enable you to put food inside them for the dog to chew on while you are gone? I like to buy two and freeze the one not in use. It takes a lot longer for the dog to extract the food. There are also Kong Wobblers, Buster Cubes, Bob-A-Lots, and other toys that make the dog really work to get the food out. Your puppy is chewing because it is bored and also teething. A really good run before you leave for work (even chasing a ball until the dog is so tired it refuses to get up) will wear out your pup and reduce both boredom and chewing. Remember, Labradors are a hunting breed. These dogs are bred to run five miles, catch their breath, and run another 20 during a day -every day. Trying to turn them into couch potatoes at a young age - or any age - isn't healthy for them and can lead to many unwanted behaviours. As with any breed, "A tired dog is a well behaved dog!" Signed, trainer of hundreds of "naughty dogs". ;-)

I have the extra large and it will work perfect. It is really large. No need for the Giant
answer 4
If you have the room (space)..this Giant cage will make her happy! My boxer loves all the room she has to move around and play in.

Based on an earlier recommendation, I chose the Giant size for our 6-mo. old male Lab, who hit 60 lbs. There is ample room to stand, turn around & mold the bed.

This would be the perfect size for her, in my opinion. It is so much bigger than what you realize by simply looking at the picture. I have a Doberman and he has plenty of room to stand and move around. (And you can't beat the price!)

I recommend the giant size. Our Plott hound is about the size of a Brittany spaniel (small for her breed), but this kennel provides extra room to move around and she loves it. We keep the door open and she uses the water dish all the time.

Hi :)
We have a Dark Chocolate Lab and understand how u feel! May we suggest the biggest one that you can find for the indoors!?! That will give her room to move some plus keep her safe. When she gets older, that will leave!! God bless you :)

answer 10
I would say get the giant one. That way she will have plenty of room to be able to turn around in a circle like all dogs like to do and lay down without any difficulty.
