That was my problem. I ended up using the shower head pipe (it's 1/2 standard male pipe - I learned from my local hardware store).

If you are using a tub with a little pull up lever to divert the water from bath to shower, you can do it (of course you will either have to get rid of your shower head OR get a Y-Adapter (like for a garden hose splitter) and have a shower head and use it for the washer.

If it is just a bath tub, you should go to your local hardware store. They should have an adapter for a few dollars.

The threads are small, it might fit to the shower stem but not the bathtub head I don't think, but maybe Home Depot would have a bathtub adapter for the quick-connect.

Depends on the type of Cycle you choose (regular, heavy, quick) and the water level.

The manual gives approximation. from 15-35 minutes from quick to heavy.

Seems a bit faster than a regular machine, but works great for cleaning clothes.

answer 2
Normal Wash: 35-42 minutes
Heavy Wash: 68-82 minutes
Quick Wash: 21-28 minutes

These times are longer than normal washing times and are in part due to the efficient agitator design and soaking times including in the heavy cycle.

Normal wash is 13-16 minutes for wash cycle and 6 minutes to rinse and about 7 mninutes to spin. Total time is about 35-42 minutes.

Heavy wash is 26-27 minutes for wash cycle and 12 minutes for rinse and about 7 minutes to spin. Total time is about 68-82 minutes.

Quick wash is 5-6 minutes for wash cycle and 5 minutes to rinse and 5 minutes to spin. Total time is about 21-28 minutes.

All those times are per the manual that came with my machine.

You have 7 various washing options. You can use Low,Medium,or High water levels.
On low you will use just over 3 gallons of water, medium about 5 1/2 gallons, and high almost 7 1/2 gallons.
You have normal, heavy, and quick wash cycles.Total times will depend on the additional settings you choose. For example if you want to do a heavy load and soak, wash, rinse, and spin it could total over an hour plus.On quick wash choosing wash, rinse, and spin is around 18 to 20 minutes.Normal probably runs about 30 minutes for all the cycles. But since it depends on what you opt for the cycles they all will vary in regard to that.

I'm not a girl, but you couldn't tell I wasn't if you went by my total lack of ability to do even the simplest home-fix. YES - VERY VERY EASY. The only thing, you have to lay the machine on it's side and screw a metal plate on the bottom (I have no idea why they don't ship it screwed on). The instructions are VERY CLEAR on how to do it and still I almost got it wrong. So yes you can do it yourself! :)

The manual says it uses approximately 7.4 gallons for a high water level load and 5.31 gallons for a medium level load and 3.17 gallons for a low level load. (Those are the three pre-set water levels). It does not say anywhere if that includes the water used for rinsing or not.

From my experience it does not use that much water. The drum is small and does not require that much water. Also when the drum fills to the required level the machine shuts off the flow of water automatically. A dish washer probably uses more water.

I use my ordinary detergent that I was using before. You do not need to use a special detergent per the literature that comes with the dryer. So I think you could use any detergent, but since it is a small tub to put the clothes in for washing, you may need to use less. I use about half as much as I did before in the standard laundromat washer.

what if there is only one sink in the kitchen

I have mine hooked up like this in my bathroom. I twist it to the faucet when I need to use it and then I untwist it when not in use. The draining works just fine with mine. Just make sure to hook the drain hose around the faucet so it doesn't come loose and get on your floor or elesewhere.

Yes, that is the normal way of doing it. I also have one sink in the kitchen and one faucet. I hook up and use it when needed and then disconnect and roll it to my storage spot for it when not in use, which is a lot of the time, of course. It drains just fine as it is designed to be used this way primarily.

Yes. It is easy to take it down when you don't use it. Water in pipe can be clamped on a adapter screwed on the faucet. However, the adapter on the faucet doesn't have a filter. So when you don't use the washer, the water from the faucet is not filtered. Draining should work but you need to find a way to fix it in the sink unless you want to hold it when it is draining.

Yes. It can work as any other washers to be hooked permanently. However, Normal washer has two water in lines. So you can choose water temperature on the dash of the washer. This washer has only one water in line, you have to mix hot and cold water before you feed the water in. If you are familiar with plumbing, it shouldn't be a problem. you might need a valve and pipes to do that.

No, this machine is not a Washer/ Dryer built together type of machine. It spin dries like a normal automatic but does a better job than most. I don't have a dryer and use a $10 drying rack and things are perfectly dry in 24 hours. Note that there is also a special spin dry only cycle just to get the water out of clothes, say from rain, without rewashing the clothes.
