The pkg.states that it marks just about everything-glass,matal, plastic, photos, foils, coated paper, oily and damp surfaces. It does not mention fabric, specifically canvas. To find out the answer to this you might want to contact Bic. The pkg. has a website on it: www.bicmarkit.com.

thay work great on any thing
I am not sure my son only has only used them on sketch paper but I think they would be fine to use on canvas but you might be better off buying fabric markers
They show up okay, but it really uses a lot of ink!
If it's thin it might seep through, but other than that it should be fine.

They work as well as a Sharpie permanent marker, and you have lots of pretty colors to use to decorate, try it, I think you will be impressed

I would say that you could use them on canvas. They write well on about anything and they don't smear or bleed through.
