Question

Question regarding for Water Bottle System

I currently have a 5 gallon clay crock, it works great! It does have of course the opening at the top...can I use the Zero Bottle Water bottle on top as if the crock was a water cooler? We just use too many Zero Water pitcher water filters and this seems like it would work better.

This unit will not fit any standard size crock, including the Primo crock sold in their store. I know, I bought one.

I believe this would would work with that. Zero Water makes a couple dispensers and one of them looked like just a clay crock to me. You can always purchase it and then return it if it doesn't work but my guess would be that it would, I use it on my 5 gallon water dispenser that I already had and it works perfectly.

Yes. I don't see any reason why it should not work just as a water cooler system with a bottle on top of the clay crock. The zero water filtration system bottom half includes an automatic water shutoff to prevent overflow in your clay crock.

Hi. I bought the larger Zero Bottle Water for my cooler. The brochure says it works for clay crock as well and having it in person, I think it would work for you. I first bought the pitcher and loved it but it doesn't hold enough. The 5-gallon bottle actually holds 3 gallons due to filters on top part. This is easy to set up and saves a lot of time and no more lifting. I highly recommend it. Also, if you don't like it, returns are easy.

There is a water holder above the filter that holds approximately 2 gallons of water and you pour it in from another container as needed

The filter system works in two parts. Remove the lid. Pour water into the top part. Gravity moves the water through the filters to the bottom part where it is stored until dispensed. My countertop dispenser along with the bottom filter/storage bottle only holds about 2 1/2 gallons, so I have to be careful not to overfill the top causing an overflow.

This 3 piece unit is made of hard breakable plastic and has no BPA number on it. I emailed support about that, but of course, I received no answer. It is the law in the U.S. that there MUST be a BPA number on all plastics that contain food or water. Mine arrived with a crack in the bottom.

The unit has a lid on the top which you remove and fill the top tank with a pitcher.
The water filters down through the two white filter units you can see inside and fills the bottom tank. A float system then meters the water into the reservoir in the top of your water cooler unit.

I would suggest locating the dispensers that are provided by water companies that distribute the 5-gallon bottles or online. I purchased mine this way and am getting another one as my current one is in storage.

I may be completely wrong but after looking at the design of it I don't think that would work. This is designed so that the unfiltered water goes on the top and the filtered water comes out the bottom and there's a hole in the bottom for it to drain into a dispenser so my guess would be no. Sorry, it's an awesome product, wish it would work for ya!

No. The Zero water filtration system is all gravity feed. The water is poured in the top half, which then gravity feeds through the filters, then into the bottom half for storage, which then feeds the decanter for dispensing for drinking.

I already had a 5 gallon water dispenser when I bought this and it worked perfectly with that. There are dispensers that ZeroWater has put out but it is also designed to work with any 5 gallon dispenser. I love mine and would recommend it to anyone!
