No, it doesn't. But it is very easy to assemble. I just used a crescent wrench set. I was able to able the entire bike with that.

When I ordered mine Site to Store, I had to call ahead for it to be assembled. If you do order it Site to Store, call the store ahead of time to verify that they will have a Service Rep available for the assembly.

No. It came in a box for me when it was shipped. Took about 20 minutes to assemble. Not very difficult.

The hard part is done (rear wheel, chain & coaster brake). You add the front wheel, seat and training wheels.

Not if you have it shipped to your home. Comes unassembled in a box.
But I have heard that if you use the Site To Store option, some stores might assemble it for you there, but you would need to call and check your local store first.

I ordered it site to store and we assembled it. The instructions aren't the best but it's not too bad as long as you take your time :)

Absolutely!! I had mine assembled doing the purchase site to store. When you receive your confirmation email telling you to pick it up, call and request it be assembled before you get it. It will be done!

i used the site-to-store, and it did not come assembled, but i didn't ask anyone to either. i dont' think it is likely that someone there will do it, judging from the availability of associates at the pickup counter. it was easy to assemble though; only took my husband about 30 minutes.

I ordered site-to-store and was told assembly was not available. This could be different at your store. But, I found it very easy to assemble with common household tools.

My son is 4 and only 38 inches tall and can ride it but I wouldn't recommend it for a child much shorter than that.

Doesn't matter about age since kids grow at different rates but a minimum of 42" with the training wheels on or 45" without training wheels would be the shortest I could imagine the kid could be to ride this bike.

My son is 4 years old and it just fits him. Should last till he is 5-6 years old maybe older depending on how high up the seat goes.

Yes the pedals can be removed with an adjustable wrench. The left pedal is a reverse thread. Note you will not have brakes if you remove the pedals.

The end part in plastic is not attached to the bike when you receive it, so you can effectively remove the pedals.

The training wheels will set directly on the ground, so balancing it should not be a problem. You can raise each side as the child grows or gains confidence.

The training wheels are removable but be aware there is no kickstand. I noticed that while piecing the bike together. I am assuming I will be able to order one later on even though one should of came with the bike.

Yes. You have to bolt the training wheels on when you get the bike. Just take off the nut and bolt to remove. Very simple.

There is typically no kickstand do to the training wheels. If you need the training wheels off, as I do, they typically set it down just like the kids do when it has a kickstand :-)

Most bikes that come with training wheels do not come with kickstands. You can buy one for cheap at Wal-Mart.They are easy to install.

it does not come with a kickstand because of the trining wheels that are easily removable. Kickstands can be bought at Walmart and cost about $6-$8.

The bike is not shown with one, nor was one included in the box. Most kids lay their bikes down so didn't consider the lack of a kick stand a problem for me.

A phillips screwdriver and a wrench is all I needed to assemble mine. The directions that came with it weren't even for the bike that I purchased.....but I had no problem figuring out how to put it together without them.

A Phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. I was a little leary about putting it together myself, but it wasn't difficult at all. Took me about 15 minutes.

16" is the outside dimension of the tire. (Ground to the top of the wheel)

I believe that the inches are from top to bottom of the wheel because I bought another bike that's a 14" and it looks like it's the actual wheel size.

Even though the bike is listed as 16" the actual size is 15" and that measurement is from the top to the bottom of the tire.
