Question

How can I manually go to a channel that the autosearch doesn't recognize?

There's an autosearch feature that finds all the suitable digital channels in the area. There are additional channels I can receive, but I have to play with the rabbit ears for a while in order to get a strong enough signal. They aren't picked up from the autosearch feature. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to get to those other channels. I enter the channel numbers, press 'Enter', and the TV switches to the nearest channel with a signal. If I can't get the TV to stay on the other channels so I can see the picture (or lack of), I can't adjust the rabbit ears so that I can get the signal. There must be a way to manually change to these other channels, but how?
