I usually turn the tv volume down and just use the tuner/amp. The speaker quality is much better.
But that is mostly using the HD/DVD.

So be careful.
Slide it in with a slight diagonal and then turn it with the base.

The Sanyo 26" television is 26" wide and 19 inches tall (including the base). It would be a snug fit inside your TV stand. Might want to remeasure and see if you have any room to spare on the sides.

Probably not. But what is your reception source?
Cable? Fiber Optic? Antennae?

What is your computer source?
Do you wander outside with your laptop and rotate until you get a signal?

answer 2
From my understanding Fios TV is only available in certain areas. If you receive FIOS TV it will probably work with this TV. I suggest you call a FIOS rep for clarification.

The Sanyo emblem is silver and embedded on the border below the screen. The only thing that lights up is a little green light that is on when the TV is on and off when the TV is off.

Nope, its completely black when it is turned off. The emblem isn't backlit, the only light on the front is the green power light, about the size of a pencil eraser.

The TV itself is 4 1/4" thick. It would depend on the bracket used to mount it.

Depends on the mount, I have the generic tilt hanger that the salesman picked out and the set sticks out about 5 inches. Might be a tight squeeze.

Yes, just a regular cable connection will work. It will also scan any Digital channels your cable provider has to offer.
HD is only capable when you have an HD source (i.e. cable box with HDMI cable connection or a Blu-Ray player, again it too also required an HDMI cable.

Signal doesn't have to be HD. As for what channels you'll get, that depends on your cable company. Most give you the first 13. If you already have a set, plug it in and see what happens. Set top box will likely get you more channels as well as HD, unless you have any over the air HD broadcasters in your area.
