answer 9
You don't need to fill it full. All you need is for some water to remain when you're done. Water is neat stuff. You can't heat it above 212 deg F (lower at higher altitudes). If you try to, it'll just change to a different state (steam). The more heat you give it, the faster it changes state (boils), but it won't get hotter than the boiling point until the pan boils dry. Then, watch out!

answer 4
I use large eggs and have never had a spillover. The cups are reasonably thick and fit snugly in the bracket/holder. If you slightly spray the nonstick inner surface with non-stick spray, the poached eggs slide out perfectly.

no bigger than large eggs or they would spill over

Maybe another silly question. Any advice on timing the perfect poached eggs??? I have always heard 3 minutes, but I would like to be certain because so many buyers seem to love this product.

Is the frying pan bigger than 7 1/2" when you get the 6 egg poacher? I don't see, just looking at the picture, how it could hold 6 egg cups.

It doesn't say "induction ready" but it works just fine on my induction cook top. It doesn't make noise like ones with an aluminum core.
It does cook VERY fast. I thought I had put enough water and it cooked dry very quickly.
