DC power outlets are what were once called cigarette lighter outlets. Most of the US stopped using the term several years ago. Smoking in vehicles is no longer accepted by the people that make the rules.

Question

Input Volt to charge the unit?

Hello,

Can the Stanley 300 Amp Jump Starter be recharged from home with a 240V, 50Hertz input? Or will it work only on 110V like USA? I am planning to use it in India where the standard home supply is 240V instead of 110V like USA. Please assist.

No... Even, though you have to hand it to the marketing people, in that they show the unit being used to light up a tire being inflated by what one could assume to be a compressor with the unit...

The 300 Amp jump starter comes with a built-in AC charger that works with your standard household extension cord to recharge the unit. We recommend you charge the jump starter immediately after purchase, after every use and every 3-6 months.
