It folds pretty flat and seat height quickly adjusts to 18", 21" or 23". It will even fit in the back seat on the floor.

My Mother In Law is about 4'11" and it adjusted beautifully for her. While it does fold up, it's still pretty big because not every part folds or goes flat. But I still think it will fit in a small car.

Question

Does the seat need to be in place for the walker to be utilized?

I'd like to attach an oxygen tank to the inside of the frame.

Yes, the seat needs to be in place in order to use it. Try placing the oxygen tank inside of the storage basket which is accessible when you lift up the seat. You can go and look at one similar to this at any medical supply store.

The seat does not need to be attached for the product to function. However, we do not recommend oxygen tanks to be attached to the frame. Thanks for your question!

you should be able to turn it so that it lines up with the leg. if it still bothers you just tape it to the bar with black tape.

answer 2
Don't know. I have never had a problem with mine. Once when I put it in the car the brake line got caught between the leg. Easy fix-make sure the brake line is clear of the wheel mechanism.

Without adjusting the legs, only the handles, I found it can adjust (from the floor) to 32 inches at the top of the handle to 36.5 inches at the top of the handle. The handle is about an inch in diameter. So, in height from 31" - 35.5 at the bottom of the handle.

I searched the site and found several baskets but they may not go on the front of this walker because of the large cushion on the backrest. There is a basket that is attached with velcro so if it doesn't fit you can get more velcro to make it work. The strap-on basket costs $25.49 from the site.
