No. The Super Elite is just a regular elite bundled with a removable 250GB HHD. You would still need to purchase

The Splinter Cell Super Elite does not have the wi-fi connection. The new xbox 360 is the only one that has the built in wireless n. They make the wireless adapter that you can plug into the xbox but will set u back 88 dollars. Here is the model number of the wireless adapter PHD-00001. The new xbox 360 slim is 30 dollars less and has built in wifi. Either decision is a good one. Have a great day

No. Only the 250 gb Xbox 360 will have built in wifi. If you want to connect the earlier models of the xbox 360 to the internet, you will need to either connect it to a router by wire, or spend 100$ more on a wifi connector for the xbox 360.

Most gaming consoles come with at least one controller. If you know you and a friend, relative, however you put it, are going to be playing together all the time it is best you pick up at least one extra.

Side note from being an owner of a console myself pick up some rechargeable AA batteries and a charger for them. They pay for themselves after only a few recharges.

No it does not. It is Kinect ready according to the information provided. Not exactly sure what is meant by that, but all XBox are supposed to be already compatible, but I thinking that there must be an adapter for the older models.

Kinect also does come out until like November, they cannot provide something now that is not out yet.

No, the kinect doesn't come out until 11/04/10. Although this console has a plug in the back just for the kinect which allows you to plug it in directly. All other xbox 360's will have to use the kinect's own power supply which is supposedly another "brick". Myself personally do not want another power supply and heat source behind my 47" flat panel that already generates enough heat on its own.

this is the new one, the 720 wont be out for a while because there is no need. most changes are based on firmware and software now. since sony owns the rights to blu ray you wont see a blu ray xbox for a long time. which is the only real physical upgrade out there but not really worth it since i learned a long time ago that using it for all those reasons is what causes overheating. plus you can stream through zune or netflix.

It is better in the fact that it is smaller, has a 250 GB hard drive, has less chances of hardware problems, and is cooler and quiter. However, if you already have an Xbox 360 with a 250 GB hard drive and are happy with that stick with it. It is not worth $300 to upgrade to something similar to what you already have unless you are having one of the problems I listed above. It is also Kinect ready, whereas on the old Xbox you will need an external power source for Kinect. No biggy.

well actually the new XBOX does have the 802.11 N WiFi witch is the best internet speed availible for game consoles. Not even the PS3 has that much speed but it looks like it is better because there are less people on it causing less lag on the connections. So yes in my opinion it is worth $300. Hope this helps:)

I believe it is worth it if you have an older model with a smaller hard drive. Also, if you plan on getting the new Kinect feature this one will allow you to plug directly into Xbox instead of finding another wall outlet. WIth game systems it's hard to tell year to year when they may come out with a new one. If I had to guess, and this is only a guess, you won't see a newer or next generation Xbox for another 2 years. Hope this helps.

answer 9
It all depends on what you currently have. If you do not own a Xbox 360, now is a great time to buy. If you have bought an Xbox 360 within the last 2 years, you are probably better off sticking with the one you have, unless it's an arcade or Pro version. Microsoft has said that the Xbox 360 will be around for at least 3 more years. And this Xbox 360 is a lot better than the former version. This one comes with a 250 gigabyte hard drive and a built in WIFI-N adapter. Formerly, the maximum hard drive was a 120 for the Elite Xbox, and a 250 gig. hard drive for the Super Elite Bundles, and you had to buy the wireless adapter separately for about $100.
answered 3 years, 9 months ago

Mandos
answer 10
Yes it is worth the $300. It comes with a 250 GB Hard Drive. The old Pro-Bundle had a 60gb and the Elites have a 150gb. Plus with the built in Wi-Fi (which seperately for the adaptor is $100) it makes it an amazing value.

Negative. You can purchase a new one for about 15 dollars. (A old transfer cable will not work due to difference in HD's.)

No. Microsoft is supossedly charging $19.99 for the cable. When you bought a 60GB or 120GB hard drive before this new Xbox came out, they would send you a cable for free, at your request. So much for that!

This really depends on your internet connection. Compared to any wireless device, such as the wireless attachment for Xbox 360, it should work the same.

I've used the wireless while also being connected to the internet with a wireless desktop and laptop. No real issues, but will depend on the quality of your router.
