answer 2
First, these pans are non-stick so there is really no reason they would have to be washed in the dishwasher. Secondly, I believe that the outside finish would degrade and dull over time with the harsh cleansers in dishwashing detergent and the hottest water.

I wouldn't recommend washing any of your pots and pans in the dishwasher. Dishwashers are too hard on your pots and pans, the abrasives in the dishwasher soap will ruin any non-stick stuff you have.

Please follow the instructions and wash by hand, your pans will last a lot longer.

I admit I put mine in dishwasher. The soap oxidized the silicone a bit. But nonstick is still great and everything seems fine other than that.

Others here have had damage to the finish but I think they used powder instead of liquid soap. I also did not put mine on 'pots and pans' setting and no heat dry.

No way. Throw your silverware in your bed one night, when you wake up, you'll understand. Coating on the inside will be affected with the dry cycle, and will loose non-stick properties quickly. Porcelin exterior same. Good news! These pans are extremely easy to clean by hand. I can wash the whole set in less than 2 min., like new

I would not put any of my pots and pans in the dishwasher. I want to preserve the life of the cookware. Dishwasher eventually deteriates all of the cookware surfaces. I have spent $700 on cookware & it didn't survive the dishwasher.

Yes, of course you can wash them in the dish washer. But to preserve the factory new finish and prevent chips, it's always best to hand wash. The non-stick surface makes washing quick and easy.

Yes but if it is a flat cooktop, you must lift, not drag across surface. Otherwise it will scratch the surface.

They work perfectly well on electric as well as gas. The extra heft of the pans transfers heat efficiently and keeps the cookware flat against the burner. These are as good as any I've used on an electric stove.

These pans have even, flat bottoms and would perform well on vitro-ceramic surfaces. I cannot say however, if they are compatible with induction cooktops.

answer 3
I use my fry pans almost every day on a glass-top electric range. The pans have flat bottoms and contact the surface well. They are also heavy so it takes a while for them to heat to cooking temperature but they also retain the heat well during cooking.

They are the best set of cookware for the money that I have ever used.

answer 2
There are NO covers for the 10" and 8.5" pans. Covers from the pots will work but likely scratch the teflon due to the angled sides of the fry pans...

A properly sized piece of aluminum foil with the sides double-folded about 1/4" for stiffness seems to work very well.
