I've only been using them for about 2 weeks so it is premature for me to say if they are showing any results. I don't use just these 2 lb weights; I also use a set of 4 lb weights at the same time. So I'm sometimes using 2 lbs; sometimes 4 lbs; and sometimes 6 lbs (3 on each hand/wrist). My workouts are about 45 minutes (15 minute miles times 3 miles). Sorry I don't have the answer yet!
they are only 2 lbs so it will take a while unless you do lots of reps! If you want faster results use heavier weights. But be careful cuz you can bulk faster that way. That why i heard smaller weights with more reps. Slow and steady

I'm 220 pounds and I walk 3 miles every night with them on my wrists. I measure my arms, thighs and waist once every two weeks and I have lost 1.5 inches off my arms in 1 month and 2.5 inches off my thighs in 1 month! I have alos lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks! So yeah, for me being bigger though, they do work being used on ankles and wrists. I do plan on moving up to the 2 pounders to keep my body working in the near future. Hope this helps you...
