You can purchase a replacement nozzle on Amazon, it is a high quality nozzle; the item is listed as:
Cambro White Replacement Faucet for Dspr6 (11-0023) Category: Iced Tea and Beverage Dispensers.
I have one and it works just fine.
Shipping is a bit slow from this company.

The Walmart where I purchased my water crock sells this water, as does Lowes.

I got mine at the grocery store. They were relatively pricey (~$15) but worth it. My only advice is to make sure you get one that's still got the safety wrap on it. Due to the large number without, and due to the condition of some of the jugs, I suspect people exchange their dirty ones for clean ones instead of taking the 2 minutes needed to wash their own.

Walmart carries Culligans where you purchase the bottle for about $9 then refill it as necessary for about $2, or pre-fillled bottles for $12 each and a discount for another pre-filled bottle when you return the bottle.

I order them from our local Culligan distributor. Lowe's also carries them.

Question

How do I put a 5-gallon jug on this on a countertop?

With lots of ooomph! Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm 5'6" and 62 so this is quite a challenge for me. What I do is start pouring the water into the crock then quickly tip it up and set it on the crock. Sometimes I slop some water. However, if you go to: foryourwaterDOTcom, click on water accessories on the left and scroll down to the fourth item you will find an Easy Load No Splash Cap that snaps onto the water bottle and allows you to place the bottle on the crock without the stress or mess. For the plastic Primo bottles choose the 55mm size.

We have our cooler on the counter as well and I am only 5' 6". It is all about tilting the spout of the water jug over the crock. That way when you go to lift and flip the water pours into the crock and nothing spills. I haven't had any problems yet. Good Luck

Question

Is the plastic ring that is between the crock and the bottle supposed to be sealed?

This morning I woke up to a sea of water on the floor. The leak was coming from under the ring and down the side of the crock. Is it supposed to be sealed?

It does not require sealing.
It should not leak.
Have you installed the ring correctly?
Is it upside down?
Also, you should not fill up the ceramic dispenser to the top, simply place the bottle of water into the dispenser and the water will seek its own level, this is how it works.
The water level will actually be a few inches below the top when the bottle is placed on it. This is simply physics.

No. There must be leak on the bottle or top of bottle or crack on the ceramic.

answer 3
No, they are not supposed to be sealed. The weight from the jug and how the spout from the jug is lower then the top of the lip on the crock should keep it from leaking. Perhaps there is a defect with the item itself.

Question

BPA in the spigot?

Does the plastic for the spigot have BPA in it? or is it BPA free? Also is this actually made by New Wave Enviro? Looks exactly like the one they make... would be good to know as that one is good.

I have no idea, but I don't care since the spigot only dispenses the water and doesn't contain it.

If I thought I was going to die from it, I suppose I'd buy a metal replacement from the local hardware store for a couple dollars.
