I haven't seen any that are made to go with this set specifically, but we have chocolate brown roman shades that look great with it. I think any curtains in a dark brown, dark purple, cream, or beige would look great.

It is a deep plum oolor in person. Not at all red. As a matter of fact, the color paint we are using as an accent wall in our bedroom is called "burnt plum".

I wondered why they put crimson. It is definitely not any shade of red. It is, as you suspected, more of a burgundy/wine color. It's almost a plum color. Very purple, not red.

I just saw it at the store. The color is more burgundy/purple mix. The background color is more tan than the purple hue that it shows. It is beautiful in the store. I would not order it if I had just seen the picture.

Is the comforter easily snagged?

I have cats and a big dog whole like to jump on my bed. The cat claws are kind of sharp- obviously.. and my dogs nails are clipped but still scratch a little. If the comforter snags a little thats alright but I just dont want to have it covered up constsanly bc then whats the point of a new bed set right...

I would not recommend this for pet claws. I would think they would snag on the starburst and ruin them.

Our cats' claws have ruined my all-cotton, hand-quilted bedspread. However, they haven't done the same to either of my sons' cotton-poly comforters, and so far, they haven't snagged the microfiber comforter at all. I'm not saying they never will, but it seems more tightly woven than my quilt's cotton.

I have dogs & a cat as well & so far it's holding up just fine. Also, there aren't any buttons or loose threads that can easily snag on this comforter. So far I'm happy with it. Hope that helps.

It does not snag, or has not as of yet. I have two boxers and haven't had a problem with it. The material is thick and easily cleanable to when it comes to spot cleaning. Haven't had a problem with this comforter like I have had in the past with snagging.

It has a very linen, woven feel. It seems to me to snag less than my brocade-type bedding I had before. But, not sure this would be claw proof. Very linen and almost looks like burlap sack.

The combination of black and brown was once considered unacceptable, but it certainly isn't anymore. If you like the combination, go for it. You might consider using both brown and black decorative pillows to pull it together, or curtains in both colors combined.

Yes, I pair it with lighter off white sheets. But I believe that the "maroon/burgundy" coloring in it would work well with a dark chocolate color sheet.

It is NOT 100% cotton. Its cover is 100% polyester microfiber, and it has a polyfiberfill. I haven't owned it long enough to tell if it will pill the way poly-cotton does and 100% cotton does not.

As far as thread count goes, IDK it! Sorry, but i love my new set it is GORGEOUS! I had a 100% cotton comforter and it just went flat! Im hoping this wont, since it is NOT 100% cotton!

I have a calico kitty, and it does attract some cat hair. It's not as bad as say, velour bedding, but it does attract some. But, it blends in with the color of the bedding. I haven't seen it as a problem.

I have a black cat AND a white cat.
I love them but they give my wardrobe nightmares. But this comforter is absolutely wonderful about not attracting or holding hair. I have no problems with pet hair on it at all.

The way the starbusrt are sewn on I would not recommend pet claws of any sort. Couldn't really say about pet fur.

The microfiber exterior of this comforter doesn't cling to our cat's hair any more than the poly-cotton exterior of his old one did. Both will collect cat hair, though. Caveat: it's washable.

The darkest shade on the comforter itself is technically a plum, but with all of the brown surrounding it, looks more like a very dark brown. The lining of the comforter and the bed skirt is a noticeable plum color though.

The online picture does not show true colors. More beautiful in person. Medium brown linen like material with embroidered white "starburst". The other "starburst" are dark burgandy and dark brown designs in the material.

I don't have an image but I can tell you it's a little darker than the image. It's more of a medium beige color. The designs are a burgundy/maroon color. It's still very pretty, just a little darker than shown.
