Will this system work with...

Will this work with a 1000 2000-watt, 12-volt DC to 120-volt AC power inverter (instead of the one included)? Can it charge a 12-volt 35Ah cyclical lead-acid battery?

Even though, it comes with a 200watt/400watt surge inverter... I bought a Cobra 1575 unit (1500watt/3000watt surge) to use on this system.. Works great... going to upgrade soon to the 3000watt Cobra unit soon.

Yes, it could charge such a battery.. however, if you wish to have a battery to run for longer terms, I would highly recommend the "MODEL 27" Deep Cycle Group of Batteries for Solar/Wind...

Here is a link to show you the exact type of batteries I use in my battery bank with the Coleman Solar unit from Walmart..

I use this syetm with 4 6 volt batteries in my ice cream truck and I use a 3000 watt inverter with it, it runs my freezers, fridge and microwave plus i use my laptop with it. It keeps my system charged for 3 -4 days before I plug in to shore power.
Hope this helps

Personally, I would HIGHLY recommend using Deep Cycle Batteries with Solar/Wind Units... unlike regular auto 12volt batteries, the Deep Cycle are made to release and accept charges at small amounts, and not at a BURST..

Here is a link denoting the exact type of batteries I use... Model 27 units, RV Deep Cycle Batteries 12volt

This Kit Unit comes already with a supplied 7amp Charge Controller. Also,it comes with a 200watt/400watt surge, Inverter to convert DC to AC power. Larger Inverter Units are available to be purchased. I personally bought the Cobra 1575 unit here at Walmart for my work building solar unit.

Question

What should my voltmeter show when I want to see how much current is coming from the panels? I bought 2 systems so I have 110W.

I also want to know what the volt meter should show when the batteries are full? I charged the batteries and the controller never says "full charged". I have had it charging for days and days. The volt meter says 12.8 coming from the panels to the controller and it says 12.4 coming out of the controller to the batteries.
So optimally in ideal sunlight what should the meter read in Volts coming into the controller?
The box says I should get 3.6+3.6 Amps, how do you measure that with a volt meter? I just want to know what I should be getting when measuring to know if it is in correct position or best connected.
