It is meant to go against the nostril opening, not in the nostril. It is just right for an infant. But I think that a toddlers nostril opening may be to big for it to work correctly.

I used it on my three-year-old without any problems, as well as my newborn. I store it in the box it comes in. It's fairly small and can easily fit in a purse or diaper bag.

I think that you would be able to use it on your 2 yr old. I am using it on my 2 month old and the "sucker" part is definitely big enough for different size noses.

I think it depends more on the size of their nose. You want the bottom of the tube to form a "seal" around the outside of their nostril for it to be effective. It does not come with a carrying case.

Most definitely is good for a 2 yr old. I thought since my 3 yr old could blow her own nose we didn't need ours anymore and I threw it away....big mistake! I am wishing we had it now as her nose is getting raw from all the wiping during this cold season.

Go directly to their website at http://www.fridababy.com/shop/nosefrida/ and you can order filters there. I use one filter for a few rounds of snot sucking. I don't feel it is necessary to replace filter each and every time you use it.

you have to suck it by your mouth.

answer 2
This one is not electric. You simply place one end at the opening of baby's nostril and suck the mucous out with the other end. Most times the mucous never even reaches the filter. You then flush the mucous out of the device with tap water. It works great!

It isn't electric - it's operated by you sucking on a tube that you hold in your mouth (at the other end of the tube, there is an end that goes right up to the baby's nostril). Don't worry though, nothing gets in your mouth! I know it sounds really gross, but it works great!

answer 7
It is not electric. It's very simple to use. It comes assembled. The tube portion is pressed against the baby's nostril and the red mouthpiece is placed between your lips. Then you literally suck the snot out of baby's nose! It sounds gross, but I've used it a number of times now and nothing has ever gotten even halfway up the tube, and has definitely not made it past the filter and into the narrow tubing that connects to the mouthpiece. It works SO MUCH better than a bulb syringe. We love this product!

It is not electric. You suck on one end of the tube while the other end is just inside the baby's nose. There is a filter so nothing reaches your mouth.

sounds disgusting, but you suck the other end of the tube and it sucks the snot right out...you don't come into contact with any of the snot don't worry! there's a long tube in between your mouth and baby's nose.

answer 10
This works by the suction produced from your own mouth (no electricity or batteries). It is a long thin tube you place in your mouth attached to a test tube like device that you put on the baby's nostril. You suck on the end of the tube and the snot is collected in the test tube like device (there is a filter to prevent any snot from coming up the tube). Sounds weird and gross, but it isn't and it works extremely well.

Ours came in a clear box with the imprinted information. We keep ours in the box after washing the tube in hot soapy water & alcohol. I don't know if you can buy replacement parts so it's just the best way to keep all the parts together.

One comes attached to the device. There are 2-3 additional in the box (easy to throw them away if you don't know that they're there!). I've had the snot sucker for a couple of weeks and don't see why some hot soapy water wouldn't clean them. Sterilize in alcohol if you must. It's really not necessary to replace them since the snot/booger never really come in contact with your mouth.

It comes with a few and unless you use it very frequently, I don't see that you would have to buy many more. I have two kids and have never gone through all the original filters (granted, my kids are rarely sick, but still, I don't think you should go through many).
