The HEOP1382 Optimus 2-Speed Oscillating Fan Heater is an ideal choice for warming up your personal space in winter. It keeps your body toasty and warm. The fan heater also doubles as a cooling fan in the summer months or for air circulation in the kitchen while cooking. This portable fan heater comes with a thermostat and features an oscillating base that rotates a full 90 degrees to provide even heat distribution throughout your space. A four-position switch gives you control over the fan heater's different settings. You can set the fan to off, fan-only, low heat or high heat to meet your cooling or heating needs. Suitable for the home and office, this electric fan heater also has an internal heat-limiting thermostat, a power indicator light, a tip-over safety switch, thermal cut-off and an overheat protection circuit for safe and efficient performance.

No batteries in this device. It has to be plugged in to the wall.

This heater must be plugged in and requires a 3-prong plug. I have never heard of a battery operated heater. Sorry!

yes, it does. There is button on the bottom of the base and it will not work if that button is not compresssed.

Yup. Very sensitive too, even being slightly off balance (for instance, setting it down on an electrical cord) turns it off.

You'll need a converter to 110V.

Don't believe so, I looked all over the piece of equipment and read the instructions, I suggest calling Optimus customer care or simply returning it to your nearest Walmart, as I am doing

That sounds unsafe - you are bypassing a critical safety system and you risk starting a fire.

I had a similar heater of a different brand that I kept having to reset, and finally it stopped working altogether. I replaced it with this one.

These heaters are not made to last for many years, unfortunately. You will probably have to replace it.

To my knowledge there is no reset button. The white plastic button on the bottom is the safety tip-over switch that MUST be engaged in order for the heater to work. This means the heater must be sitting on level, solid ground in order for it to operate.
