the most the door will hold is one 2 liter bottle as long as there is nothing in the way on the inside and gives the bar room to expand, other wise I got one 64 oz.carton of juice and three 16 oz water bottle in the door with not problem. I manage to put to 16oz water bottles in there....it comes with one small ice tray

I believe the door will hold 1 two-liter bottle and if you remove the shelf inside, you can place another one or two there. The freezer will only hold two or three ice cream bars.

Absolutely! I would only trust meds to a compressor driven cooling system like this. I can keep meats, cheeses, drinks, anything in here & they are icy cold!

Question

What are the exact outside dimensions?

Can someone please provide the exact dimensions for the unit and distinguish between the width, depth, and height (i.e. width being the length of the door from left to right, and depth being from the rear of unit to the front of the door).
These are in the description, but I feel they may be incorrect and I am trying to fit this into a very specific tight space.
Thank You.

answer 3
sorry, no "tight" allowed. you MUST have approx 5 inches clearance from the back for compressor cooling and from the sides for embedded panel heat exchanger ventilation. not doing this will guarantee very poor/erratic service, and early system failure.
answered 1 year, 8 months ago
By
DFOwensby
 - OceanView, Virginia
answer 4
The depth is 17.5" the width is 18.5" and it is 18.75" including the door hinge. The ventilation instructions specifically say no less than 100mm from sides and the wall. The top is no less than 200mm above it. Hope this was helpful.

Question

Would this product be good for a trucker to use?

My husband is a long haul trucker and we are looking for a refrigerator/freezer and we think that this size 1.7 cubic ft. would fit our needs. He has a 1500 watt inverter. We bought a refrigerator/freezer like this different brand and the compressor went out on it. Wasn't fixable.

It depends what you are lookin for. I use it in my truck myself and it works fine with a 800 watt inverter I got, it only uses 138 watts of power. The freezer doesn't do as good of a job as you might expect. Other than that it seems to work good in the 3 months I've used it so far. Did this help? I hope it helped.
