If I were to order 29 x64, 29 is the exact width of the blind, or the blind with the hardware?

the hardware goes behind the blind not on the ends and the blinds are about 1/4 inch shorter than the size it says

These blinds do NOT have the little square brackets that go on each end, like the cheaper blinds you may be used to.
Instead, they each come with 2 MEDAL brackets that can be mounted on the INSIDE on your wood window seal, OR on the OUTSIDE of your wood seal or plastering of your walls.
So, if you buy a 29 inch blind for a 29 inch measurement, it will fit perfectly for INSIDE mounting, but I would recommend a 30 inch if you install for OUTSIDE WOOD or WALL PLASTER mounting, as it would them cover the edges of the windows so no light will come in.
Instead, they each come with 2 MEDAL brackets that can be mounted on the INSIDE on your wood window seal, OR on the OUTSIDE of your wood seal or plastering of your walls.

I ordered 46" W, & got 45 3/4", which fits just fine into my 46 1/4 opening. The window length is something like 40", & I have about a dozen slats left over which I haven't tried to take out, but probably could. I just leave the blinds fully open all the time, & change the tilt of the slats to keep out sun or let in "shade" and view.

29 is the width of the blind from side to side. Mine are a bit less than the 39" it stated when ordered, more like 38-1/2", and the interior of my window is 40" and they look awesome!

No, you cannot use mini blind brackets. You'll have to remove those brackets and install the brackets that come with the 2 inch blinds. Also, these blinds keep out some of the light & make your room darker but they do not keep out all of the light and your room will not be completely dark.

Probably not. The header is quite a bit larger and actually the installation is done with brackets that are hidden behind the header piece.

NO!!! Mini blind brackets are smaller and these 2" blinds will not fit. I found that the directions were easy, once I sat down and read them. Good Luck

That is a NO! These don't use the same style brackets. Actually, the ones they supply are much better.

No they are a different bracket, they won't fit , I tried. But they were not hard to put up. You need a screwdriver and a good arm thats it. Get them one inch wider than what you measure, or you will have a gap.

Bendable yes, but in a good way I have these up in my kids living room . And they do great with them . My lil man runs to the window for the trash truck every week and if there not open he makes a place so see . The old ones bent n creased these ones bend and go back to shape . I have 4 lil ones under 5 in there for most of the day and no problems

Yes they are like other cheap blinds. They are made of a viynal material. I have them in my 3 year olds bedroom & so far so good but if your kids play with them alot I am not sure they would stand up or not.

They're a kind of rough/ lined / simulated wood grain light brown plastic. They don't bear up well under close scrutiny, but just walking around the house after a hard day's work, I find them very "soothing", especially for the price.

It's kind of a light brown rough plastic with simulated wood grain finish. It won't fool anyone into thinking it's wood, but as I've said in previous reviews, it's "soothing" in color and texture compared to "shiny" plastic.

The color was much lighter. The blinds, once received, did not look nearly as good as they do in the pictures on the website.

Definately not the same. The color is very light and plastic looking. Order 1 set to see if it matches your needs. Walmart is very good about returning this product. My windows are 351/2 and I got 35, 36 wouldn't fit.

The color of these is the same that is shown in the photo. Also, I'm assuming that your measurement of 35 1/2" is the width of the window for an inside mount? If so, I would just get the 35" ones. The gap is not significant, and if anything, should aid in the installation of the blinds.
However, if you want absolutely no gaps, then I would order a wider size, and mount outside the window opening, so it covers the entire width of the window.

The color of the blinds are what I'd say are a little darker than an oak color. We've been using pecan stain on our cubbards and they match my cubbards perfectly.
I did find that when I ordered a 31" width blind, it wasn't true to size, it was only 29 1/2". I'd say order a 36" blind incase it's cut short on the sides and you can always return and re order if necessary.
If you are hanging on the inside of the window frame, the top portion of the blind where the brackets go are larger than the smaller slat blinds, I'm going to say a 2" x 2" cube.
I hope this helps answer any of your questions.

It comes with two metal clip/snap brackets. You install them top sill and the blinds just snap into the clips.

The bracket is sort of L-shaped and screws either up into the window molding, or can be screwed in the wall, if mounting outside the window. The blinds, then, just snap onto the bracket. Very easy!

not hard remove the bottom slat then remove as many as you need to cut the leads put the bottom back on

I bought four sets of these blinds. I had a difficult time adjusting the length on the first set - the directions are somewhat confusing (at least to me, and I can usually follow instructions very well). By the time I was adjusting the fourth one, I had it down, but there is definitely a slight learning curve. Hope this helps.

I did not adjust the length of my blinds. However, the instructions describe the process step-by-step. There are several steps, but I don't think it's anything that is too difficult.

Yes, the plastic piece on the bottom snaps off (I use a butter knife to remove it) and then remove the pieces to the right length and cut the string, put the plastic piece back on. Time consuming, but simple process!

No, I don't believe so. But you can just let the excess set on the sill the slats will just stack on top of one another.
