you have to put the extra in your reserve.

answer 2
Yes.

You have to register at straighttalk.com for an account, no credit card is required. One of the account features is "Reserve" where you register a Straight Talk plan (PIN) for future service. That plan stays there and only activates if you don't activate another plan.

For example, today you could add a plan in reserve while your phone is still in service. Anytime before your service expires you can activate another plan and your reserve plan will not activate. But if you don't activate another plan the one in reserve will activate itself.

You can add serveral plans to reserve and it will keep your service continuous by extending your service when needed. The plans will not expire. I don't think there is a limit to how many plans can be kept in reserve.

The reserve plans are assigned to a phone so if you change your primary phone be sure you shift the reserve to the new phone. You can't get refunds for reserve plans, so I suggest you not put too many out there in advance.

Yes, the card will expire at the end of the month and you will lose any minutes you still have. Even if you buy a new card the minutes do not roll over.

answer 2
It doesn't expire, exactly. If you still have text messages left, or you haven't used all of your web megabytes, then the card is still active. The only way to get minutes back is to add a card to your account and activate it immediately. You will lose any text messages and web access, since they do not roll over into the next month.

This plan is not compatible with sprint phones. However, you can get a GSM (AT&T copatible) phone or a straight talk phone, activate it, create a user id at straighttalk.com and initiate the port of your old phone numebr to your new phone so long as your old phone umber is in good standing and post contract.

answer 2
This plan does not support sprint phones. However, you can get a straight talk phone or bring your own GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile compatible) phone, activate it by ordering the carrier specific sim card from this website and activate it. Once activated, you can "port your old number using your straighttalk.com user account so long as your old number is still in good standing when you initiate the port.

answer 3
No. Do not cancel because your phone must be active to tranfer your telephone #. Do not tell Sprint you're leaving them.

Buy your Straight Talk phone, buy your airtime card and go to www.straighttalk.com to activate. Your Sprint phone will stop working when the transfer is completed.

My understanding is:
• ST runs off of the “pre-paid” part of the towers
• Unlike a plan through AT&T or Verizon
• NOT the whole tower, so your service will be LIMITED.

Depends on what "letter" is in the model #...

► Remember ◄
“c” = Verizon towers
“g” = AT&T towers

Depending on where you live, you can buy a StraightTalk phone that uses Verizon towers, Sprint, or AT&T. I have the Android Samsung Galaxy Proclaim that runs off Verizon, because I basically live in the middle of nowhere. No matter where I go, my phone always works. Sprint and AT&T will not work where I live or in most rural areas.

You can choose from AT&T and T-mobile. Bear in mind the T-mobile's 3G is only available to some phones, especially not iPhone. The price and service are quite much the same.

If Verizon issued the Iphone no it can not adapt to Straight Talk.

If you have an AT&T, T-Mobile, or unlocked Iphone with a SIM card slot you can buy a Straight Talk SIM kit and $45 airtime plan and activate.

No, your time/plan minutes start counting down as soon as you apply them to/activate them with your phone and they don't expire to my knowledge, but I would activate/apply with your pin as soon as you are able to.

Since we don't know all the details of the phone or the network it now uses, in my opinion, the best way to determine if the phone is compatible to bring to Straight Talk service is to follow through on the Straight Talk BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) website. It's difficult for us to give you a definite yes or no here as we really don't have enough information.

If you get hung up or have difficulty running the phone information through the steps, you can always call a Straight Talk representative for help or further information at (855) 222-2355.

I would think yes b/c it says you CAN add your own phone. I added a "Sprint" phone that was flashed to Cricket. I used Cricket for a while and then decided to switch to Straight Talk for better service and was going to "Android" phone but Straight Talk was added on previous Samsung Intensity II thru Sprint- flashed for Cricket first.
