The frame appears to be tubular steel. Too heavy to be aluminum. Seems nice and sturdy.

Yes if purchased from the store's inventory. If purchased from Site to Store, it will vary from store to store as to whether there is an assembly fee. Depending upon how many assemblers the store has is usually the determination as to a fee.

Yes Walmart will assemble the bike at the store. Even if you have it shipped to the store they will assemble it their for you.

You can safely put 220 lbs on almost any 20" bike.

I could not find a weight spec on the instructions, however, this bike is heavy steel construction....very sturdy. If you can fit on the bike, it seems like it would be fine. My husband took it for a ride.... He was too tall for it, but at 155lbs the frame carried him no problem (not that I would suggest adults riding it regularly).

Being a BMX (trick style) bike it will take a little longer to assemble this bike as opposed to a regular style 20" bike. There are 4 handlebar bolts that must be loosened (to attach the handlebar) then placed back in the holes and re-tightened.
The brake cables must be attached to the brake levers on the handlebars also. I would say 30 min to 1 hr for your typical handyman to assemble.

It really wasn't bad to assemble. The instructions were pretty clear. Took about an hour box to finish.
