The Television has 1 Digital Optical output.

The KDL-55EX720 has an Ethernet connector at the rear for connection to your network - it only requires an adapter if you are connecting wirelessly.

Absolutely, you can connect any devices to all available input ports on your Television. Only the device connected to the input port you selected will be view regardless all connected devices are on. It will not harm the Television.
