when to bait feedre is off you only have the drag at what you have it set for stopping the line, with bait feeder on just the spool turns as it totally disengaeges the drag.

does it come with an extra spool?
I bought this reel several years ago and lost it. At that time it came with an extra spool. Does it still come with an extra spool? Didn't see that listed.

Well, Depend on where you purchase from? You need to ask. But if it was send in original Okuma Box, 9 out of 10 it'll come with an extra graphite spool.

On Okuma ABF Avenger50, it recommend 10 up to 15 Lbs. test ( Mono-Line) But I use 30Lbs Power Pro Braid Line on mine.

10-20 pound but if using premium braided line can go 30 due to smaller diameter braided lines

The ABF-50 will take a variety of line sizes. It will hold approximately 130 yards of 50 lb. test braid line.

The 65 is a big reel and it will handle many line sizes. Depending on the reason you purchased the large reel....Line capacity? or Big fish?
20 lb mono would be the smallest I'd use but only if I had a 9' or longer rod and was casting long distance as in surf fishing.
I spooled both of my 65's with 60 lb braid and have plenty of capacity.
