It does fold up. I fold mine all the time. Be careful about pinching your fingers though. Once you get the hang of it, it is pretty easy to fold.

Yes it folds up nicely. I can fit it between my couch and the wall; it would easily slide under a bed.

This folds flat to store under your bed or up against the wall. It is fairly light so it can be moved around and handled easily. You will want to use it every day so this I know is important. My Wife Loves hers. Just remember this is for beginners. You will want one that has resistance if you plan on doing a medium or Heavy workout.

In the box, I believe the container is about 3 to 4 feet long. I threw away the box already, but it fit easily in my car, a Ford Focus, when I brought it home. Assembled, the Gazelle will not fit through the average doorway because of the bolt fittings. But it easily folds and can be turned sideways to fit through doors that way, and can be moved easily from room to room. It weighs approximately 50 pounds assembled.

I don't have the measurements to it on hand but in the box it fit fine behind the front seats of my van and it wasn't too long for the doors to shut : )

Hope this helps.
I'm on my second Gazelle.
I love this trainer, however the squeeking is a problem. I tried everything. Here's what I did.
Use vasoline on EVERY penetration, moving part, ect... The bolts going through the frame... grease those.
Grease everything.
Also what I did that helped significantly is...
I reamed out the swivel arms on the bottom foot pads.(Black teardrop plastic things).
The squeeking generates from the plastic teardrop swingarms rubbing on the welds from the posts.
After I reamed out these parts, it didn't rub on welds, which eliminated the noise.
Maintenance is a priority with owning this thing. I now have another squeek coming from frame cables. I just tweek with it when it makes noise. I've come to the conclusion that it will always make some kind of noise. But for the price, you can't beat it. Good Luck. Peace.

I just yank on the plastic in different directions and it subsides... for one use anyway. It seems to be the plastic protective cover scratching along the rim, in my case.

The handles may stick up too far to fit under some beds. I had to elevate my bed with special bed elvators that are shaped like inverted flower pots.

It does...but is not worth it to me. I just leave it up all the time and it reminds me to exerice each day. It is a little heavy to be folding up and sliding under your bed each time you are done with it. If you are concerned about it taking up space than I would just fold it up and lean it against a wall or put it in a closet....much easier.

Set up it is about 2ft wide x 4ft front to back. Really doesn't take much space. We have enough room on each side to get on and off and have the back 6 inches from the wall.
