Ingredients are the same in both: Fipronil 9.8%, S-metheprene 11.8% - HOWEVER, I totally recommend Triforce. I LOVE it! Used to get sick - vomit even - after petting my cat with other products. But Triforce works near perfectly without causing me problems. I get it online from Entirely Pets. Of course they also have Dog formulas! Blessings ♥

it's the same stuff. frontline had a patent on it the last 20 yrs. the patent has expired and now other manufacturers can make the exact same thing.

Yes I would recommend you wait to apply the medication until the oils have had at least a few days to build back up in the coat. This is how the meds get distributed over the entire dog. You will have more effectiveness with the product if applied this way.

the company name is FidoPharm. if it were hartz, i don't know why they wouldn't say that. i would imagine hartz is cooking up there own version if this isn't it. doesn't matter. stuff works great.

We purchase cat items for cats and dog items for dogs.

shouldn't be a problem. as soon as it dries, it stays put. you can't even tell it's there. does the cat touch the dogs neck? keep them apart until the dog dries. i have one dog i treat and 2 old cats who occasionally get the cat stuff and i've never had a problem.
