Frigidaire's 12,000-BTU 230V through-the-wall room air conditioner with 10,600-BTU supplemental heat capability is perfect for rooms up to 640 square feet. In addition to cooling, this versatile unit also offers supplemental heat capability, providing you with an additional heat source to your main heat source when outdoor temperatures are above 45 degrees Fahrenheit. It quickly cools the room on hot days and quiet operation keeps you comfortable without keeping you awake. Features include electronic controls, full function remote control, 4-way air direction control and multiple speeds. The antimicrobial filter cleans the air removing harmful bacteria, plus, the clean filter alert notifies you when the filter needs to be cleaned. This unit is designed for through-the-wall installation and is not designed for standard window installation. This unit also requires a special 230V electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household electrical outlet.

No it does not. You will need to purchase the sleeve separate.

NO... they don't u can buy a Sleeve which is a must have...that's what it slips in2... 4 the wall, directly from Amazon and other sites! I should know cause i bought the same except mine is the 14000 BTU..!

Yes this would be the metal cabinet around the exterior of the unit there are exact measurements for the opening of this model.

This comes with a universal sleeve kit,the width of the opening should only be 1 inch over 24"-220 is required.

The universal trim kit is used to allow this unit to fit into many different sized sleeves.

The listing here does not say it comes with a sleeve. The sleeve that frigidarire makes for this unit is

Yes. In addition to having a thermostat which will turn on and off the unit when it reaches its temperature, it also has a 24 hour timer that you may set for it to turn on and off at a pre-determined time.

They all do when there Energy savers and use that feature...my 30 yr old 1 will shut on an off when i set it at that... but because it's so old runs my Electric 2 high so i just purchased the Frigidaire Energy Star & Saver, 14000 BTU 220 thru the wall type, can't wait 2 have it installed!

The unit is 220 volts and either #1 need a 220 VAC outlet on its own 20 amp circuit or #2 needs to be "hard wired" into its own 20 amp 220 VAC circuit.

You can pick up the appropriate 220 VAC 20 amp plug at a Walmart in the electrical section. If you are not able to find it there then go to a Home Depot or Lowes and they will be able to get you one.

This unit already has a 220 plug the consumer is responsible for a 220 outlet, have an electrician install this within 6' of your opening in the wall this unit is not intended for a window.
