All 2.4ghz devices are set on a specific "frequency channel" when they leave the factory. It appears that your 2.4ghz cordless phone is on the same channel that Belkin uses for the default setting. So the N600 is most likely on the same channel as the others and therefore will not work for you out of the box either.
But all is not lost..........
Belkins own support page will give you detailed step-by-step instructions on how(with your computer's browser) you can easily change your routers default channel to alleviate interference to/from other 2.4ghz devices.
Or, you can google: "change router channel - Belkin".
You DO NOT need a new router!

The Belkin N150 and N300 routers operate on the 2.4ghz band, as do some cordless phones, which is why you are disconnected whenever someone answers your phone. The N600 router operates on both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands. The 5ghz band will help with disconnections but requires a dual band compatible wireless adapter.
