answer 3
I'm sure it will fit as it's less than 44 inches but please consider whether the adjacent items and your flooring are properly leveled. It will be dicey and it will be good if you can squeeze another inch of space for it. However, the tight fit might even be good for the stand, as it would be restrained on its sides against any tendency to wobble in future.

The overall width of the Mainstays TV Stand is 43 1/8" w. The 43 1/8" measurement includes the overhang of the top shelf. As long as your space is 43 1/8" or smaller than the TV stand will fit.

There is one hole in the back of the wood center portion for wires. I have about 12 different wires and cords running through it right now. There are no holes for wires in the cabinet portions, but the backing on those is not wood and you could cut holes if need be.

Yes. 3 punchout holes so you can run wires through the back to plug stuff in or connect components.

Yes, there is about a 2 1/2 inch hole in the middle of the stand near the bottom. Pretty small hole though; enough for cable and dvd player wires.

I don't know how much it costs for in-store assembly, but it's really easy to put together. I'm a single mom and did it myself in about 45 minutes. The tools you need are a hammer, phillips screwdriver, and flat-head screwdriver. All the screws and hardware are included in the box, along with the instructions.

All I used was a hammer, philips and flat-head screwdrivers and that did it all. It was pretty easy to do, the instructions and way the parts are labeled are very nice. I don't know how expensive in-store construction would be.

The only tools you need are a phillips and straight screw driver to set the cams and screws plus a hammer to tap in the nails on the back panels. The instructions are really easy to follow. We put ours together in about 30 minutes.

I have an old-fashioned tube television on this stand. My TV is about 25 inches wide and 20 inches deep.

By
Swankado
answer 3
This stand will work for a 35" tv even if it's not a flat screen tv. There is a short bar that's attached to the top near the front of the stand but it shouldn't prevent a tv of such size from fitting nicely on it.

Hope this helps.

answer 4
If your TV is heavy, this stand would probably not work well. It's ok for a flat screen (mine is pretty light), but I wouldn't put a lot of weight on it. Plus it's only about 18 inches deep.

answer 5
Before we bought the flat screen, we had an older 32" screen that weighed almost 100#. It sat in a cabinet which was made of the same type material this cabinet is. Within a year, the shelf started sagging and we eventually had to buy another stand. In summary, this stand is nice looking but it isn't made of material that will handle a lot of weight over time.

answer 6
It's only about 18 inches wide so that might present a problem and I don't think it would hold too much weight, so that might be an additional problem. It's basically hollow and just pressed board, so it should list a weight limit somewhere.

The cabinets are about 8 inches wide, 15 inches tall, and 15 inches deep, so it would have to be a very small PC tower.

Maybe, it depends on the height and depth of the tower.

I believe the cabinets are too small for a pc tower.
answered 2 years, 8 months ago
By

answer 4
You COULD, some towers are larger than others and may not fit, but some will. BUT you should NOT put a pc into these cabinets. It will only destroy your computer. There is not enough ventilation for your computer in there, it will over heat and certainly cause damage.

Not sure as I never tried to do that myself; but to me it looks like it should be big enough to do so. But, on the other hand I don't know the size of your Tower.
