A sudden storm (70 MPH winds) came through and torn our canopy up. Frame is good, just need a new cover. Model #WMT-99SL WGR gazebo. Does Wal Mart carry replacements for this? If not - how would I get one?

I haven't. If it's windy, I don't think this item would work for you. If not wind, it's a possibility that it could be put to good use.

It works very well on the sand, but the canopy lets some UV light through it so if you're casper-white you'll get burnt.

Yes, this is the second year I've had one at the beach. I'm actually at the beach as I type. It works fine. The stakes don't work but what you can do is take each leg, once the whole tent is setup, grab it low with both hands and shake the legs back and forth to bury the leg about 4 to 5" into the sand. Then mound sand up around each leg like an ant hill. Works like a champ! However, be careful and don't grab the leg too high when trying to bury it, I bent one by accident. The metal is soft. Another option I've seen is to take 4 plastic bags full of sands and tie each to a foot. This works well also.

You need 2 people at diagonal corners to stretch the accordeon and lock the legs until the pin clicks. Lift the 4 inner braces (2 at a time) and set the canopy on top then secure the canopy with the velcro ties on all sides of the frame. Then stretch and lock the legs to desired height. Reverse the process to store gazebo.

First start by stretching it out, it's easiest with 4 people but you can make do otherwise.

The actual roof structure is like an accordion, and it keep it from retracting there is a silver button on each of the 4 legs up where they meet the roof framing. You'll have to muscle it up past that point on all 4 corners, then stretch your canopy over top, it'll velcro in place on the posts themselves as well as inbetween to keep it secure.

Then raise it to one of the 2 supported heights. The first one keeps the canopy just under 6 feet off the ground (I know this, because I am 6 feet and it hit my head on it too many times) and the second clears 6 feet by maybe 3 or 4 inches.

Release the upper locking pin on legs first, then fold down the diagonal braces after removing canopy. Lower legs and with 2 people at diagonal corners, fold the accordeon towards the center of the gazebo.

When taking down the frame, pull the center height down first, unhook the legs and two people .... one each on opposite corners push inward. Press buttons in and shorten legs to make it even easier. Good luck.

I believe there is a safety catch or button on each leg near the top. (at the bottom of accordion arms) I don't have mine available at the moment (in storage), but I remember having trouble putting it down the first time. If you have the instructions, the information is buried in there. Sorry I can't be of more help at this time.

I would take it down during storms or heavy rain. Winds will crush your frames and the excess water on the roof can cause it to force collapse and damage your frame as well.

Ive been through 3 of these for these reasons! kept forgetting them outside and when i remembered in the middle of the storm it was too late!

Great I actually purchased 3 . I put one in my dog lot so my dog would have shelter from all the rain we've been having. Strong winds and rain its been up since July. Still stands tall, not leaning or bending, still looks brand new. Great material and great product.

Hope it helps!

The gazebo is pretty sturdy with the included pegs but if you feel you need to secure it better, I suggest using ropes with additional pegs on the 4 corners.
