Yes. In review mode there is an option for cropping the photos you are viewing. Using the zoom to zoom in as well as the up/down/left/right ring button surrounding the menu you can crop the photo.
I am a pro photographer.
I presume you are asking if you can "crop" IN THE CAMERA? I would guess NO, but once you download your images to a computer, there are numerous software programs to "edit photo". Most computer photo-view programs have an "edit" function.
I am partial to Adobe Photoshop, (industry standard), and I would reccommend it. Photoshop "Elements" can do almost all the basic manipulations and adjustments of the Pro versions.
Be informed that the World-standard "MONITOR RESOLUTION" (dots per inch, or pixels per inch: ppi) is 72ppi - that is on all computer MONITORS. These days, almost all computers automatically adjust photos, to suit their photo viewers. If you get involved in image "editing", make sure, if you can, that the "resolution", after your cropping, is AT LEAST 150 ppi, or else you will be able to see pixels, or look "grainy".
Another solution is, if you want to make prints, to transfer the images you want printed to either a "jump"-"flash drive" (USB plug-in), or burn to a CD, then take it to the Dep't store, drug store, or wherever, and USE THE PHOTO-PRINTER KIOSK, to crop, before printing.
Sorry That I don't have a simpler solution.
Good Luck to you... - Mark

I think you can crop it to certain specs, but not random settings.
