Do you have to switch the setting to go from scrubbing to drying? Also, do you have to pull the trigger to dispense the cleaner?
I have an OLD Flip It, where it dry vacuums one way and when you flip it you have the solution & water dispensed on the floor. When you push the the vacuum forward the liquid is dispensed and when you pull it back it sucks up the water. I hope that this vacuum is the same, it seems like it would be difficult to keep switching between scrubbing and drying.

on Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub with Tools, Blue, FH40030
Hi Spedkiddos! When cleaning the floors keep the FloorMate SpinScrub in the "Wash" setting. Push the FloorMate forward while pulling the trigger then release the trigger when pulling FloorMate back for pick-up. You do not have to switch the settings. "Dry" mode is to pick up small dry particles on floor. "Vacuum" is for wet pick-ups. Hope this hleps!

There is a switch that rotates vacuum, wash, dry. In vacuum mode the brushes and squeegee will stay up. In wash mode the brushes will drop and rotate. In dry mode the brushes will raise and the squeegee will drop vacuuming the dirty water up. The trigger on the handle will dispense the clean detergent. This works so much better than the flip it!
