Spewing Dirt Back Into The Air
I have heard that when you disconnect and use an upright vacuum's hose and attachments that dirt spews into the air because the beater brush continues to rotate. If this is true does Eureka manufacture an upright that allows you to turn off the brush and if so how much does such a model run these days?

I work for Eureka® and the new SuctionSeal™ upright available exclusively at Walmart and on Walmart.com has an on/off brush roll. When the handle is in the upright position, where it should be when using the tools, the brush roll stops spinning automatically, plus this makes the cleaner function better on hard surface floors.

The hose on this unit is the same 'cleaning air path' as the floor suction. Disconnecting the house does not allow dirt to be thrown into the air. Also I notice when I so use the hose - I have it in the upright position - where the brush beater is far from the floor.
