Yes, down at the bottom on the left below the letter X you will see a figure of a lock. hold it in and it will lock your keyboard.

Yes.

It's easy and quick to transfer your ACTIVE telephone number and existing minutes too.

Go to www.tracfone.com and follow the activation menu. You could also call customer service but they're slow (but very nice people), you could be on hold a long time. If you do call them don't call from your Tracfone.

Yes, if you contact Tracfone. We moved to this from a Motorola C130 and had the number transferred to this phone, but have to do so with an account registered at Tracfone.

Tracfone can switch your old number to your new phone. I always try to talk to a live customer service person to switch.

Yes. Also look for promo codes which can give you an extra 200-250 minutes on a year's 400 minute card for a total of 1000 or more minutes.

Yes to both. We've used it with a 4GB mini SD card. Has earplug for decent mp3 playing. Song loading can be done through a USB cord.

I don't know what Wal-mart offers but if the number is the same, it's the same phone. It takes a mini SD card and can work as an MP3 player and has double minutes.

We are heading South soon and looking for coverage in WA, OR and CA.
As per Tracfone website the LG 500G:

"MP3 Player (cable and microSD Card not included)"

Also the website for Tracfone indicates Double Minutes, but do not know if that mean you have order the phone from Tracfone directly to qualify? So I am not much help on that question.

You have to transfer your number online or with someone from Tracfone.

When you activate your new phone online, you have an option to transfer your number. However, your phone number & minutes are all that can be transferred. Your phone book, pictures, texts etc are not transferable. Hope that helps!
