Ours had a whole half strand go out, but I think it had a cord problem. The bulbs were ok and the fuses were ok. The box says that if one goes out the rest stay lit.

Yes! In fact all my lights were lit when I first set up, I just noticed today that one was out, but the rest were on, I was going to change that bulb (they give you a bag of bulbs--i think there are 6 extras in the bag) but when I went to remove it, it came on, so was just loose. The lights are very nice.

We haven't had this tree long enough to find out if the branches stay lit with a burntout bulb. However, I pulled a bulb out and that small section of the tree went dark. I hope this helps.

Question

Multi-colored?

Are the colored lights just red, blue, green, and yellow? Or do they have like pink and purple in them? For instance, cheep colored lights don't have as many colors as a the pricier sets.I know this sounds like a dumb quesion. I have been realy sick for a few weeks and don't have the energy to do this twice, and our Wal-mart doesn't have one on display.

There are lights on this tree that are a like a raspberry shade of pink. We like a LOT of lights on our Christmas trees and this one is perfectly covered for the size of the tree. We had considered adding a string or two of twinkling lights to it, but once it was up we decided it really didn't need any additional lights. It's pretty just as it is.

The tree is Flame Retardant and they suggest using lights that are rated for Indoor Use only. Other than that, I'd say if it doesn't have an open flame then decorate it with whatever you want.

They are only steady lit bulbs, but they are just standard lights so you can get the twinkling bulb and replace one and get that effect, or just add a strand of twinkling lights.

Lights stay lit. Could not find anything to make them blink. Would have to get a separate plug to make them blink.

answer 4
You will have to sub in blinking bulbs. The construction is that it has multiple light strands wound through the branches with the sockets taped together. So to have the whole thing blink you have to sub in many blinking bulbs. I don't think it came with any so you would have to buy them separately.

It comes in 3 easy pieces, all you do is start with the bottom and work your way up and then fan out all the branches, that takes a little time to get it to look fuller. You never have to stick individual branches into a pole. You get a pole that has the stand attached and you slide 4 pieces in the base that serve as the "feet" of the stand, its so easy even a child could put it together
