NO. Our bike came with black tires. My understanding is sometimes they are shipped with white and sometimes black. There is no way to tell until you open the box from the manufacturer.

Question

Where is the kickstand located?

answer 1
It is located directly behind the bottom bracket (The frame section where the front sprocket is.) Note that the kickstand seemed too long for this style of bike, but I took mine off before full assembly and didn't get to fully test it.

answer 2
Hi speedy,

Thank you for your question. The Mongoose Intake has a center style kickstand. The kickstand is attached the center part of the frame near the pedal and crank assembly.

Question

can it be replaced by a size 26' tires and is the frame ready for disk brakes rear and front?

asked 2 years, 9 months ago
By

answer 1
NO. 26" tires would not fit this frame at all. You could put a disc break assembly on the front if you keep the shocks the bike comes with. The rear cannot accommodate a disc break.
answered 1 year, 2 months ago
By
Kisosen
answer 2
No and No. The frame is too short in the back, and the forks are too short to fit a 26" wheel/tire. There are no disk brake mounts on either the frame or the fork.

is the frame cromoly or alloy?

answer 1
It is made of Hi-tensile steel. Hi-Ten steel is only 2/3's as strong as 4130 Chromoly steel.

It is not made of alloy.

By
Koin24
answer 2
Neither. The frame is gusseted hi-tensile steel - Neither as strong or as light as 4130 chromoly or an aluminum alloy, but significantly cheaper to produce.
