These tires go pretty good in snow and ice!
If you mean on actual hard ice, NO tire is any good or better than another unless it is studded. If you mean on or in slushy snow ice, this tire has done okay for me on my front wheel drive vehicle. In slushy ice only large lug-type "tractor" tread will really do the job especially if its deep slush. The larger the tread lugs the better, but you can't buy this type of tire for passenger vehicles. Also they are quite noisy.
