The terms of service are not monthly, it is based on days of service, from the point of activation. For example a 30 day card activated on Feb 1 where Feb has 28 days will expire on March 2nd.

Yes. You can wait to activate it. You don't have to use the phone card till ready to activate.

sure but why? Monthly unlimited? I don't use my phone that much. I pay 100 every 6 months and now will be paying that much every year and with 1000 minutes I'll have plenty left over. If your a texter or a yacker you might come out.

Yes.

With Straight Talk plans and phones you can activate whenever you like. For example, if you wish to give this as a gift in December you can do that.

Straight Talk plans are 30-days (not monthly). To keep the telephone service active you must keep buying plans. You could give a credit card for convenient 'auto-refill' continuous service (that's my preference). If you don't have a credit card you could use the 'Reserve' feature that lets you add a plan that activates automatically. Or you could manually add a plan on day-30.

I reassure you that if you buy the phone and plan today you will have no trouble activating service one, two, or three months, etc., into the future.

No, it's not Verizon.

"G" in the model name indicates GSM, which is AT&T or T-Mobile, depending on coverage.

No.

You may not remove the SIM, as stated in the Terms and Conditions section 14:

"Some Straight Talk wireless phones have SIM cards. If your Straight Talk phone has a SIM card, then you agree to safeguard your SIM card and not to allow any unauthorized person to use your SIM card. You agree not to, and not to allow any other person to, directly or indirectly alter, bypass, copy, deactivate, remove, reverse-engineer or otherwise circumvent or reproduce the encoded information stored on, or the encryption mechanisms of, your SIM card. You may not remove your SIM card or use the SIM card on any other wireless phone. Any violation of the restrictions on the use of your SIM card that are contained in this section may result in the immediate termination of your service without notice. The Carriers, TracFone Wireless, or its service providers, may, from time to time, remotely update or change the encoded information on your SIM card."

Some numbers can be transferred depending on the carrier and your current service plan. Please contact straight talk at 1-877-430-CELL (2355) to see if your number is eligible for transfer.

The technically correct answer is yes. The truth? Maybe you can, maybe you can't. It depends on the whim of the Provider's computer system which in the case of the Net10, Tracfone, Straight talk family of providers is questionable. I have succeded once and failed once. So, toss a coin. It will depend on your zipcode from what I could tell when my failed attempt went south.

Yes.

As long as your telephone # is active on another phone you can transfer that number to your new phone. You'll have the option during activation.

I wouldn't count on it. My other AT&T phone never got a single signal when I was in Japan.

However, this is an AT&T phone, so you could check here:

http://www.wireless.att.com/travelguide/coverage/roaming/step1.jsp

But since this is a Straight Talk plan, I would bet AT&T would not allow this phone to connect to one of their normal international roaming networks.

No.

The phone does not work outside the USA.

You may be able to call those countries from the USA and the rate per minute varies. The website will have information, http://www.straighttalk.com
