You don't really have to water first, but if you are in a windy environment, it might be smart, to water lightly, to create a "cling" effect, so it won't blow away.

answer 3
You can. Wait for Mother Nature. Best time to spread is early, early morning before sun rises above the trees because the grass will be wet with dew or after an overnight rain. Make sure there is no rain in forecast the next two days. I have never watered mine since application. Let nature take care of it.

Question

What should I expect with dandelions after treatment of Expert?

I applied Weed and Feed to my lawn with lots of dandelions. What should I expect in terms of getting rid of these pests? It will have had at least two full days before any rain.

This works really well on dandelions, but don't expect it to devastate a healthy dandelion community. You may have to re-apply in about 4-6 weeks. After that, you will see a near miraculous transformation (oh yeah when dandelions die, they do not disappear, they shrivel up & are really ugly, for a while.

You should have seen dead Dandelions by now. I seen them turn black at the root and still grow. But when they grow they twist all up and die. I see my neighbors cutting there grass all the time because of the Dandelions. I sit back drinking iced tea watching.

The best to apply any kind of fertilizer is in the spring and also in the fall.
Only make sure you apply it in the morning when there is dew on the lawn.

If you have "flowers", they are probably toast. Shrubbery (bushes?) are a lot more hardy. They should be fine.

Yes, but if you have a really heavy rain, the odds on the weed & feed being washed away is much greater. A light rain or sprinkle will actually help, by creating a cling effect w/ the weed & feed & the weeds.

I don't know why, but there are a couple of "expert" bags in a range of 17.5 lbs. and 19.5 lbs. that will do between 5,000 & 6,000sq ft. if you follow instructions.

The weeds die out in about 2-3 weeks.

The Ingredients are:
(R)-2-(2,4-Dichlorophenoxy)propanoic acid, dimethylamine salt,
Dimethylamine (R)-2-(2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxy)propionate,
Dimethylamine 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetate.

These chemicals contain both fertilizers and herbicides meant to promote grass growth and kill weeds.

Fertilizer ratio is the proportion of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), and Potassium (K) that are in the fertilizer. For instance, in a bag of 10-10-10 you have an even ratio of 10% Nitrogen, 10% Phosphorous, and 10% Potassium.
