I fit the box in the trunk of my Corolla; it was surprisingly short, as well as narrow; I'd say it is about 2ft by 2ft square on the ends and about 5 feet long. I did not even have to drop my back seat; it fit in about 3/4 of the way, and I just tied my trink shut.

Comes with 9, 12lb bricks but that's not how to calculate the "resistance" your body will feel. It has a chart in the manual that states what those are. I attached a pic.

comes with 112 pounds, but the resistance due to the pulleys amplifies the weight. For example, using the normal arms, 1 weight unit while sitting using the big arm things seems equivalent to three when using the lat bar.

The first weight does not require a pin, you should use the pin if you want more than one weight, ex 100 lbs..use the first weight by itself..use the pin if you want it to be heavier.
answered 2 years, 1 month ago
By
creative21
 - New Jersey
answer 2
Sounds like the holes in the tube were not drilled correctly, you have a defective part, contact gold's gym for a replacement tube or drill the hole to meet your needs.

You're right. It doesn't. I think this is a design flaw. For some people one weight is sufficient to use for some exercises. You have to use at least two weights for the tube to work correctly.

This happened to me. Chances are, the home gym is not 100% level. It's important that it is or it will put additional pressure on the guiding rods. I suggest taking a level to it in multiple spots in the back... if needed, insert some cardboard under the portion which isn't level.

Question

Can this machine amount up to a total body workout?

I'd like to have a home gym that I can get a total body workout. I like the way this one is presented, and the reviews seem fairly good. The only thing I'm still wondering is if this can give me a full body workout.

No. There's no way to completely work out your legs with this machine. As for upper body, you'll be able to hit every muscle. You can even to a good ab work out with it. If you do buy this or an other machine, buy a triceps rope and curl bar.
