Questions & Answers for Gold's Gym Gold's Gym Trainer 410 Treadmill

Question

Height

I'm going to be putting this in a converted attic, the ceilings are kind of low in there, and I'm 6 ft 1. The ceilings are about 7 ft I'm wondering if there is going to be enough clearance. Anybody got a measurement of the machine fully inclined? Like how much is it going to lift me off the floor?

Question

What kind of electrical outlet should be used for plug in with this product?

I've read that with treadmills, its important to use a surge protector. Is it unsafe to use a surge protector but have other items plugged in at the same time while the treadmill is running? ie. Television, lamp, etc. - This question is concerning specically to the Gold's Gym Trainer 410 Treadmill but if an answer is known for treadmills in general that would also be of help.

You can use a regular wall outlet. We have ours in the den and plugged it in and haven't had any problems.

I recently purchased the Goldgym 410 treadmill. When I started it up, it slowed when I walked. Well, I did what was recommended and now, it still slows and now is visibly uncentered. I cannot get it to be re-centered. How do I fix this.

How does the calorie counter actor in your weight since u don't enter it? What weight person is it basing it on?

It doesnt have a way to enter height/weight/gender. Looking at the calories I burned in a half hour, I believe it assumes you are working out at your target heart rate the entire time. You will need to purchase a heart rate monitor seperatly to ensure you stay at that level the entire workout.

I would assume it's only calculating based on the speeds and inclines you are working out with. I don't think it would be anything really definite person to person.
