The 32DT2U has a QAM tuner for tuning digital cable channels. Generally, you would be able to view basic-cable channels only. However, check with your local cable company to see what they make available without a cable box. For premium, pay-per-view, and encrypted channels you would have to have a cable box.

No, it doesn't. It has 2 HDMIs, PC input, and EITHER Composite or Component.

I'm not familiar with TV Ears, but if the transmitter has a digital audio input it will work. If only analog, it will not.
