The Ball Dry Herb Jars 4 oz has the "Ball" logo and otherwise plain. $4.47 at my Walmart for 4 jars. Plastic shaker top. Regular mouth lids fit these and also the plain plastic tops. The shaker tops also fit the other regular mouth jars (8 oz, 12 oz).

No. They are just quilted, with a little blank oval to put a label.

No just the quilting, which is BTW a ball "signature".

Nope, no ball signature anywhere. There's a textured design on the glass but a smooth surface for you to put a label (blank ones are included). There's a pretty design on the lid, but no words anywhere.

It's a smidge over two inches. Stickers are included inside the box already if that helps.

The "lid" is 2 3/4"

answer 5
According to another website, the lid dimensions are 2.8" x .8" x 2.8". With the band, it's 3" in diameter but I don't think you'd want to go larger than 2.8" diameter.

Yes. I use mine to store spices. I made a cabinet to go above my oven, just below my upper cabinet. It holds 18 jars, of my most popular used spices - for cooking. For the other ones that don't fit, I store on a shelf just to the right (about 18 more - stacked neatly -some for baking.) Because of the steam from the oven and stove, I purchased the plastic lids, so the lids won't be hot to the touch, and you don't have to worry about the lids rusting over time.

Yes, I've used the oven method for jar sterlization. Key is to keep temp low, don't go above 250. After washing & drying jars, I put them in the oven on a cookie sheet and leave in the entire time while preparing jams, etc., taking them out one at a time to fill. It's nice because there is no dripping hot water to watch out for. Good luck.

Try Amazon, not available online at Walmart, although most stores stock them and the prices are the best anywhere. I've also seen them at Michaels.

You can order the 4oz. mason jars online. Walmart's prices are the cheapest I've seen. They even beat the online jar sites. The in-store price and the online prices are the same. I did find that they limit the number of jars you can order online and have shipped to the store though. Depending on how many you need, you might just be able to get them directly from any of the billions of Walmarts in America.

Yes the jar and rim are but the lid with the plastic, I'm not sure. I've used them for cakes in a jar, cooked in the oven without lids and then put the lid on after baking where it self seals and have had no problems.

Yes, you can use these in the microwave. I use these jars for my 10 month old daughter. I put her meals in the jars. I use 2 for her pureed fruits, and 2 for her pureed meats / vegetables for lunch & dinner. I like the fact chemicals are not entering her food like you could get from plastic containers. I use plastic reusable lids & use a dry erase marker to label them for her daycare. I love the convenience of them, and easy cleanup - wash in the dishwasher.
