Is it safe to eat this fish every day?
Does Vietnam closely regulate the amount of sodium tripoly phosphate allowed in this fish? It tastes very salty. Where can I get information on the levels of mercury found in this brand of fish. I have been feeding this to my dog, who is on a liver diet, twice a day, every day. Is this safe in terms of the mercury & sodium tripolyphosphates? Thank you for your feedback.

on Swai Fillets, 4 lbs
I nuke it with frozen veggies and eat 3-4 at a time, with no extra seasoning but pepper. My dad smother his in tartar sauce, but his tastebuds are dead I sure wouldn't waste $3/lb feeding a dog great-tasting fish, but if you want something 'fishier', try tilapia. I trust Viatnamese catfish as much as anything swimming in OUR rivers or coastlines!
I am on a low-sodium diet. If I eat higher sodium foods my blood pressure goes up within 24 hours. I have eaten one to two pieces of this fish per day for approximately two weeks and have not had a problem at all with sodium levels.
