Comes in a big box unassembled. Easy to put together, stand - bottom - middle - top. It's fluffing the tree that takes the longest, up to 1-2 hours. Looks good though!

answer 3
The tree does not come put together; there are three sections which fit into each other. However, the assembly is minimal, and I was able to do it quite easily. Some parts are a little heavy so you might want to have a helper though.

Yes, with a lot of time cutting wires that are "permanently" mounted. There are three sections to tree as well.

answer 2
Yes they can be removed, but if a light goes out the rest do stay on, plus they give you 6 extra bulbs just in case you do need to change one.

The instructions won't tell you how to connect all of the plugs. They will just tell you to connect them. You just have to hunt them out and connect them all. After you get it figured out tie ribbons to each plug making them easier to find next year. Even use different color ribbons for different matching connections.

Yes, it was a bit confusing - mainly because the cords were hard to find. But there seemed to be one extension cord in the middle section - then you just dig in the top and bottom parts of the tree to find the loose plugs and connect them to the end of the attached extension cord in the middle section. This is all that I had to do.

Question

Are the branches strong enough to hold heavy ornaments?

Really, the branches in my opinion seem comparable to a real tree - which means you need to be creative in hanging heavy ornaments. I did hang a few ceramic - fairly heavy ornaments and did so by hanging and resting the bottom on other branches. This is really easy as the branches bend and stay bent however you put them.

Yes, there are two types of branches, one of them I use to hang pictures in heavy frames and a few old ornaments.

The lights in the bottom section plug into the wall. The middle section plugs into the bottom section and the top section plugs into the middle section. These plugs can be difficult to find sometimes. Dig around and find them. Before putting your tree away after the holidays tie a ribbon around each plug on every section making them easier to find the next year.

Question

Need detailed instructions for set up.

I have the three sections put together and the long cord from the middle plugged into the wall. I notice two extensions in the middle of the tree - one with a yellow dot and the other with a red dot. Some of my plugs inside the tree have corresponding red/yellow dots but not all. How many plugs are there in the inside of the tree in total that I need to plug into the extensions?

I don't have this tree, but every male plug should have a female plug to insert into. You will just have to hunt around to find them. To save yourself this grief next year, tie a ribbon around each and every plug before dismantling and storing your tree after the holidays. You will have no problem finding them all next year. Even go so far as using red ribbon for connections that go together, white ribbon for connections that go together and so on.
