You may actually choose where to save the photos. As you use the Scan option, it will give you the chance to direct where you save it. You may save it in your "My Pictures" folder or in a sub-folder located with "My pictures" (i.e. My Pictures - "Wedding Photos") Or in another location that you designate.

leave empty color cartridge in and it should
answered 2 years, 9 months ago
By

answer 3
No. The cartridges are specific to each of the slots and the printer will not accept a black cartridge in the color slot. If you want just black and white prints, just leave the empty color cartridge installed and in your printer menu under "preferences" chose black and white prints.

it should work fine but keep in mind that now you will be using twice as much black ink i would go to the printer settings and select black and white only

answer 5
If you run out of any color ink the printer will protect itself and not print. With some ink in color cartridge, go to control panel. Choose devices and printers. Select Black Ink Only from dropdown.

This printer should be able to handle card stock, but do not load the feed with it. It is usually 1-3 pages at a time, max. Any more and it could possibly jam.

Yes you can, but you need to watch the paper feeder as it likes to get stuck periodically when pushing the heavy paper through. Also, the picture quality is good, but certainly not great.
