Are the feet that come with it adjustable?

Hi HR

I have double checked with the manual. There is a saftey strap that attached to the unit and the wall. There is nothing more. The bcak panel is a very strong piece of cardboard. If the unit is assemble correctly it will be very strong and sturdy and last for years.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

YES!!! Because the back is basically a sturdy cardboard it makes it very front heavy.

No, there is a wall achor in the box that you use to achor it to the wall. Even though it is very sturday and strong due to warranty requirements the unit needs to be anchored to the wall.

I hope this helps but if you have any other questions please feel free to ask!

I didn't have to do that. Seems very sturdy and secure as is. (I didn't use the plastic feet because I'm using it in my kitchen and it didn't look as nice.) If you have toddlers or small children, then probably a good idea to secure it to the wall. Otherwise I think it's fine.

It depends what you put in it. If you plan on putting in fairly heavy items, I would screw it to the wall.

Hello HR
Due to warranty purpose even though the unit is very sturday and strong it still needs to be attached to the wall. There is an anchor kit in your unit you can use for that,
I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask!

I did not nail mine to the wall. It definitely does not need it. It stands alone, very solid. Also, you can easily adjust the height of the feet, so that your cabinet will never tip forward.

I would think if you have uneven floors maybe but ours is fine. Most of the weight is on the bottom of the cabinet.

The fixed shelf is at the very top of the unit. The ajdjustable shelves are the lenght of the unit. The only way you could leave the on side tall is to leave out all the adjustable shelves.

Once you get the unit you can see if you want to use the adj. shelves which you can put higher or lower, where ever you want them or not at all.

Hi Amy-

The unit is built to where the fixed shelf is at the very top of this unit, but the ajd shelves that come with it go all the way across the unit.
They are not small half shelves.

I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

answer 4
Yes the sides are about 3/4 inch think and you can put on plywood. I would use a 3/4 in. plywood so not to make the back to heavy. The cabinet as a whole was heavy about 100 lbs.

By

answer 5
The panels are 5/8" thick. If I were to do this, I would measure, mark the plywood and pre-drill it so the nails will go straight and not split the side panels.

I don't see why not. The bottom and the top are the only fixed shelves. However the adjustable shelves may help it hold square...

Since it is 72" high, maybe a shelf at the top for supplies and brooms would still fit.

Not sure it would be sturdy enough without shelves. There is one top shelf that's permanent and three that aren't. Not sturdy enough to stand alone.

answer 5
All shelves except the top shelf is optional. The top shelf is built in a fixed location. I would say that if you are installing the cabinet in a corner that you could not install the top shelf when you assemble the cabinet. Then you would have the full height (if needed, but probably still tall enough even with it.) and the walls it is installed against will provide the added stability.

Hello-

The only shelf you do have to use is the very top shelf which is called the fixed shelf. It uses up about 1/4 of the cabinet. The other 3/4 of the unit has three adjustable shelves that you can leave out if you would like to. I think you would be able to put mops or brooms in there.

I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

I wouldn't. It looks like it's made of MDF or particle board with a fiberboard on the back.

If it was a covered deck, it might be okay. We have one on the deck at our lake place, and it does fine but it's a tall deck and not low to the ground, so it doesn't get alot of moisture from the soil and there's alot of air circulation.

Hi Cat-

I do apologize, but this unit cannot be left outside with a non-roof deck.
Although the partical board it is made from is very sturdy and strong it will still swell and ruen it.

I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
