The instructions state it is safe for pets should they walk on a floor after using, just keep a bowl of fresh water so they can get the taste out of their mouths. The floors dry quickly.

I am sure once the floor is dry your pets will be ok. If not, this product would have been pulled from the shelves a long time ago. It has been around for quite a while and there would have many complaints if pets got sick after walking on the dry floor and the stores would have pulled the products from their shelves. In today's world people are very aware of dangers to pets, which is wonderful. I don't think the wet floor would hurt them - but I am very careful to make sure my cat doesn't walk on the floor while still wet for two reasons... My first reason is simply because I am very careful what he comes in contact with. My second reason is because if the floor is still wet I would have little paw prints everywhere he walked.

They're supposed to be throw away, but the last pad I used wasn't that soiled when I finished cleaning so I rinsed it out with liquid dish detergent and warm water and let it air dry.. I re-used it earlier today on the wood floor throughout my living and dining room and it held up just fine!

It comes in various scents, a large bottle and/or a small. Just turn upside down and insert small end into the compartment, push it down firmly and you are all set! You don't have to remove it between uses but if you want to use a different scent, just pull one out and insert another. Store them upright. Do NOT remove or tamper with the caps. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

Directions easily walk you through it. There is an arrow on one side of the liquid... you tip it upside down, and face the arrow against the mop handle and pop it in. The liquid had a lid that is broken open by the mop when inserted. Pretty cool... no mess...

Locate the arrow on the back of the refill bottle, make sure the arrow is pointing down and place the bottle (arrow side against the pole) in the unit until you hear a click.

Yes, it does.. I've been using the All Purpose Cleaner on my ceramic tile and wood floors and they shine like new now! I've also just purchased the Wood Floor Cleaner, but haven't used it yet... If the All Purpose Cleaner worked this well, I could only imagine what the Wood Floor Cleaner will do!

I suppose if you had a way of injecting the fluid in there, you could use your own. The only problem is that you would make a mess putting in on the unit. The wetjet solution bottle has a little rubber/plastic seal that punctures when it is inserted on the swiffer unit. So, if you refilled it with something else, part of it might spill if you put it back on there. I've never tried it, but I did think about it - the solution is pretty cheap, so the risk of cleaning up a mess seemed like too much to me.

Yes, everything is included. Be prepared for streaks and spots. You're better off using vinegar and water - no streaks, no spots and cleans better than anything out there. I just bought the wet jet today (8/18/11) and let's just say, I'll be returning it.
