Question

Does the DVD for Win 7 come with this computer?

I know Win 7 comes installed, but I don't know if "genuine" means you get the DVD, too. (Side note: I jokingly wonder what "non-genuine" Win 7 would be.)

Mine came with two discs:

2) the driver CD for the motherboard hardware.

U get the OEM version on DVD in the box. U also get a dvd with the drivers for the motherboard.
After U get the computer, U need to download the latest drivers from the MB website. OEM version of Win 7 means you can only use the DVD on that computer.

I have not opened the case, but I believe that I saw in the specs that all of the slots are used. That is usually how manufactures do it. I believe that you will need to replace with new sticks of RAM if you want to upgrade.

Mine came (Feb. 2012) with Intel HD Graphics 2000. I've watched full HD 1920x1080 video OK. Don't know max frame rate.
Most of my use is web browsing, spreadsheets, and photo editing. I haven't seen any deficiency. But, my uses are not demanding.

I have been using the computer for a couple of weeks now, and I think the graphics card is fine. I use it for photo editing and business use mostly, and I'm not having any problems. I am running dual monitors without an issue. I've also read the reviews about the Intel HD graphic card, and I think the bad ones are coming from high-end gamers. I'm not sure this card would hold-up for them. This is NOT a gaming system even though most of the specs may look like it. For general use, this card is fine.

Look for a review with just one star. that person had problems using two monitors, but that may not happen to everyone.

I think the computer has one VGA port and one DVI port. DVI is better and if you need two you may need to add a second video card.

The tower has 1 VGA, 1 DVI-D and 1 HDMI port for hooking up to monitors. Unfortunately this is not the end of the answer. I had to return the first two systems because they would not work with more than one monitor at a time, nor would they work reliably with a single DVI connected monitor. The same problem happened with the third system. After much time and frustration I was told from ZT to try altering the registry and the the BIOS to a SATA setting of AHCI . This has allowed the use of multiple monitors and the DVI port will work with my brand new monitor but not a 4 yr old HP monitor.

I advise any one who has already purchased this system and is struggling (I spent over 40 hrs dealing with this) with getting the multiple monitors or getting the DVI to work, to call ZT and ask about the REGEDIT and BIOS changes for AHCI. You don't want make those changes without being sure you are doing them right.

You know, if you don't say what model of printer you have, how can anyone give you an answer? Yes, a new printer should work with a new computer. Actually, your printer should work with your old computer too. You may need drivers or something else but if your computer us less than 5 years old it should work.

I too recently bought a new HP printer and it wouldn't work with my 9 yr. old Dell PC. The problem turned out to be with the USB ports on the Dell. Try refreshing your ports and/or updating the drivers. In my case, I had installed a USB 2.0 card, but was still using the Windows XP drivers. When I installed the drivers for the Belkin USB card, the HP printer worked great!

This will be more than enough to run all your stuff. I'm probably going to order one for myself in the near future, because you certainly get more bang for your buck than with any thing else I've seen. Absolutely! It's way more than enough. I'm using it for my web development business which means it gets a pretty good workout. And so far, it hasn't faltered a bit. Software like Quickbooks and Outlook run fine on systems with lesser processors and memory, so this system handles them easily, with power enough to run more simultaneously.

For those purposes, this system is MORE than enough. I run a business from home, too. Windows 7 cannot run Outlook Express, so I had to use Windows Live Mail to direct all my emails to one place. I do not like QuickBooks but had it on the system and it ran fine (I have since removed QB). For my purposes, I like Quicken, which is running beautifully. I, also, have Microsoft Office, which includes Outlook and all the other programs, which are all running fine. This machine has more than enough power. If you don't play any games, you'll have more than enough space/power. Good luck
