right or left turn from center extention all the way out

I want to mount this on a side wall. When it is extended all the way forward, can I then turn the TV right or left leaving it in the center full extention position? It doesn't show this.

Yes, it swivels pretty far both ways. However, I wouldn't leave it fully extended all of the time because tht will put a lot of stress on the mount and it will leave the TV vulnerable to being damaged if someone walks into it, bumps it with something or attempts to move it by just grabbing an edge.

answer 2
It swings both right and left. It pulls out about 2 feet, so it will swing until the edge of the TV meets the wall. I have a 47 inch TV and it swings almost 90 degrees left or right when fully extended. So it all depends on the width of your TV

yes it will allow you to do this depending on the size of your set. Mine is an RCA 42 inch LCD and it will extend to an almost flat position when fully extended from the mounting wall.

No, but center is a relative position. It fully extends, but the length is offset to the left. It will pivot right and left to a certain degree, but not the full 90 degrees.

Question

Can the mount be easily adjusted to keep the TV centered on the wall, left to right, if the studs you screw it into aren't centered on the wall?

Also wondering if there is a problem w/crooked brackets as one customer seemed to have?

Well, but it will have to be pulled out quite a bit if you want to center it in a place other than its normal center. not recommended. I was going to cut out the drywall and build a brace between the studs if I wasnt lucky enough to have it centered where I wanted it.

I had no bent brackets or any problems with the product.

answer 3
You could either span a 1x2 between you studs then screw into this board or at least hit one stud and use the wall anchor for the second side. The crooked issue: you can level the bracket on the wall and level the bracket/plate on the TV and I guarantee it will not come out level....BUT it is easily adjusted....pull the TV out and turn sideways, loosen the screws on the plate on the TV itself...not too far that it will dismount....but you will notice the TV MOVES/Slips and this is where you do your final LEVELING and then tighten the screws back up...your done! Very versatile bracket.

Yes most def. I have been reading a lot of the comments about peoples concerns concerning the studs. Please understand that you can also use anchors with this product. They come with your wall mount. They are very large and will work also without having to use studs. Just follow the directions on mounting section and you will be fine. I love it and you will too

answer 7
The mount can be adjusted to keep the TV centered on the wall. It allows you to loosen the bolts on the back which then allows the TV to slide left or right on the horizontal supports (if you used the 4 beam installation). Also, you can install it on a wall without installing directly to a stud (even though it is recommended). My installation only had one bolt into a stud.. the rest where anchors. Came with 4 but I added 3 additional ones.

The installation lets you tweak the mount so much that you could compensate for some of the imperfections of the mount. Mine did not have any significant ones... It installed perfectly level.
